Terms and Conditions
1. General Scope of Services
These terms and conditions apply to all Pressure Washing, Soft Washing, Window Cleaning, Gutter Cleaning, Aeration, and Holiday Lighting services provided by ShipShape Exteriors (referred to as "Service Provider"). The customer (referred to as "Client") agrees to the following terms by requesting and receiving these services.
2. Estimates and Pricing
All pricing is based on the specific needs of the job and will be provided in a detailed estimate. Any changes or additional services requested by the Client after the initial estimate may result in a revised price.
For all jobs, the balance will be due upon completion of the job unless a payment plan is arranged.
3. Payment Terms
Full payment for services is required upon completion, unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties. The Service Provider reserves the right to charge late fees for overdue payments. Payment methods include cash, credit card, and bank transfer.
For clients wishing to arrange payment plans, Service Provider may offer options to divide the total bill into 3 or 4 payments. Payment terms will be clearly outlined, and a written agreement will be required.
4. Missed Payments and Contractor Liens
If a payment plan is agreed upon and a payment is missed, the Client has a grace period of seven (7) calendar days to make the missed payment. After seven days, if the payment is still outstanding, the Service Provider reserves the right to place a contractor's lien on the Client's property. This lien will remain in effect until all outstanding balances are paid in full.
5. Job Completion and Satisfaction Guarantee
The Service Provider guarantees that all services will be performed in a professional and satisfactory manner. Any concerns or issues with the completed work must be reported within 48 hours of job completion. The Service Provider will make every reasonable effort to address and resolve any issues.
6. Liability and Damage
The Service Provider will take all reasonable precautions to protect the Client's property. However, the Service Provider is not responsible for pre-existing damage or damage resulting from conditions outside their control, such as fragile or improperly installed fixtures.
The Client agrees to indemnify and hold the Service Provider harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from the services provided, except in cases of proven negligence by the Service Provider.
7. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Clients must provide at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a service. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in forfeiture of any deposits made.
8. Media Recording and Usage
The Service Provider reserves the right to record and capture photos or videos of the work performed at the Client’s property. These materials may be used for promotional, marketing, or training purposes, including but not limited to social media posts, website content, and advertisements.
The Service Provider agrees to respect the Client’s privacy and will not disclose identifying details such as the Client’s name or exact address without prior consent. If the Client wishes to opt out of media usage, they must notify the Service Provider in writing prior to the commencement of the service.
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
The Service Provider reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any changes prior to their next scheduled service.
By proceeding with the booking and payment of services, the Client acknowledges and agrees to these terms and conditions.
